Trampoline!

I was jumping on my trampoline

And reading a magazine

Then I fell and broke my back

When I saw the neighbor’s cat

I yelled and cried and screamed for help!

But all who came was Uncle Ralph

I got in the car and drove away

This is really not the time to play

Then they put me in a cast

I really couldn’t move too fast

This is all I have to say

So that’s all the abuse I can take today

When I was in

grade five

I was silenced, and clarified

that I was a wolf!

I always wondered

why

                                                      Other kids at school were scared of me,

                                                      until I found out I was a wolf.

                                                      Then I didn't wonder anymore.
